Local conveners help your team find who else to hear, why they matter, and how to reach them.

Community convening · Adaptive Reuse exampleSee the example above ↑

Illustrative Adaptive Reuse story: the Learning + neighborhood life Theme starts with the consultant team’s known partners. A team administrator invites Jordan Ellis, a local convener. In the guided Who is missing? step, Jordan suggests Former-school families, including people skeptical after closure, and Youth court users outside regular meeting channels. Each suggestion includes why the group matters and a reachable adult connector: Mara Chen or Eli Santos. Sending leaves both pending. The Theme Lead separately reviews and approves each new stakeholder and its Theme link. The same Theme now retains the wider group and Jordan’s reasons. The team can prepare listening invitations with Mara and Eli and keep asking who else is missing. No community listening invitations, listening, community agreement or reuse decision has happened.

A fuller stakeholder group. A better starting point for listening.
